Vojta is a nature illustrator and educator. Originally from the Czech Republic, he moved to Scotland in 2019 to study geology and physical geography, and then outdoor environmental education. His practice combines scientific knowledge of the Earth with creativity and personal experiences outdoors to re-imagine abstract concepts as works of art. Through his illustrations, Vojta hopes to reveal the hidden stories of rocks, plants, animals, fungi and landscapes, and help everyone reconnect with nature.
