Justine Pourrier-Mondin is a French writer and poet based in Edinburgh. Her first visit to the Cairngorms sparked a lasting reflection on hiking and marked the beginning of a deep attachment to the area. She holds an MScR in Linguistics and approaches environmental writing as a way to combine creative expression with research—shifting the focus from self to landscape, and writing with care about fragile places not as destinations, but as spaces of interaction.
