Fiona Mossman

Fiona Mossman grew up next to the Cairngorms, and she loves to spend time climbing, walking, skiing or otherwise seeking adventure in the mountains. Her writing is often inspired by fables and folktales. She has studied literature and book history, and currently works as a librarian in Edinburgh. Her creative writing has appeared in Analogies and Allegories and The Journal of Imaginary Research, and she has a chapter on ‘Scripted Summits’ forthcoming in an academic study of mountains and culture, The Mountain and the Politics of Representation.
