Andrea Wotherspoon is a writer based in Thurso, on the north coast of Scotland. Her short stories have been published in The People’s Friend, Woman’s Weekly and Take a Break Fiction Feast. She was a Caithness Artist in Residence with Lyth Arts Centre in 2022, collaborating with young people in and around Thurso on a project called Where Cats Glow Green, exploring the legacy and future of the Dounreay nuclear site. Her writing is very much inspired by the Caithness landscape and its history, although she also loves to add a hint of the supernatural. Outwith writing, her hobbies include coastal walks, rock gigs, shamanism and running sound baths.
